The Galena JROTC is a highly motivated, communityservice oriented battalion. Our commitment to our community is shown through are willingness to participate, and the motivation to do it again next year.
Balloon Races - It is the largest hot-air balloon race in the country, and is held here annually the first weekend after Labor Day.
Veterans Day - All of the battalions in the district and many other notable organizations march down Virginia street in order to honor our nations veterans.
Cadet Formal Inspection - A team of reviewers from the 8th Brigade representatives come and evaluate our program.
