The Great Reno Balloon Race is the largest free hot air ballooning event in the nation. Our battalion supports the balloon race by organizing the dirt parking lot to best fit as many spectators into the area as possible. Around a dozen cadets show up at 7:30 AM, they put on reflective vests and begin parking cars till around 9:00 AM. After 9:00 we begin to assist people as they leave the parking lot. We are usually done around 11:00, just in time to go to lunch!
